New and improved online proctoring is here! Honorlock is Boise State’s campus-supported virtual proctoring solution, replacing ProctorU. Faculty currently using ProctorU or another proctoring tool are encouraged to begin using Honorlock during the Fall 2026 semester.
Honorlock offers benefits for both faculty and students:
No cost to students. While other proctoring tools may incur additional fees, Honorlock is fully university-supported and currently free to students.
Cross-platform compatibility. Honorlock works with Canvas, ALEKS, WebAssign, Pearson, and others to streamline exams no matter where course content is delivered.
