The OIT Audio Visual team has been hard at work this summer refreshing equipment in classrooms. Some of campus’s high traffic lecture halls have been upgraded with new technology which may include:
- New lapel mics
Unplug the mic from the charging base and wear it around your neck. The mic is always on and ready to use. To mute, use the touch panel or the center button on the mic. Please return it to the charging base after use. - New document cameras
New doc cams are controlled through the classroom PC rather than the touch panel. Look for the Doc Cam application on the desktop. - Dual monitors at instructor stations
The left monitor is the primary display. The right monitor is mirrored on the projector. - Ceiling mics
These microphones better capture student voices during hybrid or recorded sessions.
By arming you with our latest and greatest in audio visual technology, we hope to improve your teaching experience in these rooms.
