Sophia Crimmins earned her Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Professional Studies with Certificates in Business Creation, Elementary Spanish and UX Design.

Crimmins came to Boise State feeling overwhelmed with the idea of finishing while working full-time.

“Schooling online allowed me to work full-time while working towards my bachelor’s degree. I was able to maintain a healthy balance between everything going on in my busy life. At times, I was tempted to just give up the idea of a bachelor’s degree, at least for the moment, and finish it later down the road. The online degree program at Boise State helped me push forward and actually enjoy finishing my bachelor’s degree. I’m glad I was determined to finish strong. I will carry this determination with me in whatever I do.”

Crimmins gives credit to her professors for her success. “I loved having Michelle Bennett, Johnny Rowing, Wenlu McIntosh and Anthony Saba. They were absolutely amazing and made me feel welcome and motivated to finish strong. These teachers really went out of their way to connect with each student individually. Thank you all!”

Now that she’s completed her bachelor’s degree, Crimmins is focusing her free time on her small business, With Healing Balm.

Woodbury-Monda is leaving the program with more than just a degree. “I will carry the perseverance that I acquired while pursuing this degree into everyday life and into my career. I plan to continue to learn, grow and gain the experience I need to move up within IT and cybersecurity.”

For his success, Woodbury-Monda credits his wife and the program faculty and staff. “I’d like to thank Kody Walker, Joshua Haver, Tyler Dillon and Jake Hellenkamp for guiding me through to completion of my degree. Andy Butler earned her Master of Business Administration in Management while balancing a busy life.

“What I appreciate most about my online MBA program with an emphasis in Management was the flexibility it gave me to balance work, family and school. As a full-time employee and a parent, being able to learn on my own schedule made a big difference.”

Butler is appreciative of the skills she developed in the program. “The program helped me grow professionally and personally, especially in leadership, time management and strategic thinking. I’ll carry the confidence and resilience I gained through this journey into every future challenge I take on.”

For her success, Butler thanks her incredible support system.

“I would like to sincerely thank Battelle Energy Alliance for supporting my education and providing the resources to make this achievement possible. I’m especially grateful to my manager for being understanding and flexible with my schedule during stressful times. I also want to thank my family for their constant encouragement and unwavering support, and lastly, a big thank you to the faculty and staff at Boise State University: you’ve been amazing in helping me navigate the program and stay on track.”

Besa Sadiku earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Management while owning a small business and being a full-time mom of two. “What I loved most about my online degree program was the flexibility it gave me. I was able to be a full-time mom, a full-time student and run my small business at the same time. The online format made it possible to juggle all of these roles without feeling like I had to give up one for the other.”

Sadiku received more than a diploma when completing her degree. “I’ll carry forward the discipline, confidence and time-management skills I built along the way. This experience showed me that I’m capable of more than I ever imagined, and I’ll take that mindset with me into every new opportunity. My journey at Boise State has strengthened my confidence, pushed me to grow and helped me discover new passions. Some of my favorite moments have been connecting with classmates and applying what I’ve learned directly to my business.”

Sadiku credits her support system for helping her complete her degree. “I’m incredibly grateful for my family and friends. Their support, encouragement and understanding kept me going through every busy week and late-night assignment. Along with my instructors and professors, who guided and motivated me with patience and positive feedback, they all played a huge role in helping me reach this milestone. I couldn’t have done it without them.”

Looking ahead, Sadiku plans to expand her business, Gem State Charcuterie, while exploring management career opportunities. Sadiku is also open to pursuing an MBA from Boise State. “This journey has meant so much to me, and I truly believe that once a Bronco, always a Bronco. I’m excited for this next chapter and grateful to stay connected to the Bronco community as I keep growing and learning.”
