The project management graduate certificate is made up of four courses that create a solid base in project management practices and can be completed in as little as two semesters.

Course Descriptions
Official course descriptions and degree plans are published on the graduate catalog website.
To find a course, click the “Courses” tab and select the drop-down list that aligns with your desired course prefix (e.g. PROJMGT 501). You may also use the search bar to search for the course prefix.
Costs
Students who take classes 100% online pay $525 per credit during the 2026-27 academic year. Future academic year per-credit fees may vary slightly and are finalized each May.
Other potential expenses may include a personal computer, books, webcam, headphones with a mic and internet access — all of which are required for the online program.

To apply for the project management certificate, you must submit a short, 250-word statement addressing how the program aligns with your career aspirations and apply to Boise State University.
