As a learning organization, Cradlepoint is committed to providing innovative, quality online and virtual learning. Under general direction of the Director of Organizational Learning, participates in all curriculum and eLearning development for CPU to support partners, staff and customers globally. Manages curriculum development projects on Cradlepoint solutions, contributes to the production of interactive, visually impressive online learning content comprised of graphic design, animation, and interactive demos and quizzes. Participates in the support and administration of Cradlepoint University. The successful candidate will demonstrate innovation, agility, and a love of learning.


  • Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances learner retention using Articulate 360 including Storyline and Rise and relevant design tools for bite-size learning.

  • Apply Adult Learning principles and instructional design methodology to all efforts to align content with learning objectives.

  • Works closely with stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify target audience’s training needs and develop learning objectives, knowledge checks and assessments.

  • Create material/media (audio, video, and online interactions), selecting optimal media format for projects. Edit media content for a consistent, error free learning experience. Create and integrate interactive elements including graphics and other content.

  • Able to work independently, and as part of a team to produce, edit, and review learning content for delivery.

  • Manages projects including identification of dependencies, delivery of project elements, coordination of the review process with subject matter experts and stakeholders, identification and mitigation of risks to timeline.

  • Participate in all levels of quality assurance including eLearning user testing and editorial and continuous improvement for individual projects and to support team members’ efforts.

  • Participate in support and administration of the LMS.

  • Continually improves deliverables and process by participating in learning industry training and collaborating with peers in the field.

  • Continually improves knowledge of Cradlepoint technology.


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Organizational Performance, Workplace Learning, related degree or relevant work experience.

  • 5+ years’ experience in an instructional design role in corporate learning.

  • Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts and video scripts.

  • Project management skills including timeline estimates, identification of dependencies, delivery of project elements, coordinates review process, identifying risks to timeline.

  • Ability to work with a variety of technology including Articulate 360 and MS Office 360. Adobe Premier or Creative Cloud a plus.

  • Experience with adapting content for international efforts.

  • Experience designing learning for the technology field.

  • Subject matter expertise of Cradlepoint technology a plus.
