Award winning OPWL students

The instructional design course project Idaho Food Bank, has been selected by The Association of Educational Communications and Technology (AECT) as the winner for the AECT HERO Award – Workforce Learning Track.

OPWL students Justin Beaudry, Lorraine Frazier-Aich, and Madeleine Yount created the project in Dr. Lisa Giacumo’s OPWL 537 class.

The committee was impressed by the rigorous technology used in their project and the impact of their project in the field.

A big THANK YOU to the Association for Educational Communications & Technology for promoting scholarship, best practices in instructional and educational technology, and providing a space for excellence in instructional design to be recognized and awarded.
