The event began with a presentation from astronaut Steve Swanson, who has been to outer space 3 times! He talked about the process of going to space, what it\u2019s like to live in the International Space Station (ISS), and the different projects and experiments they do on the ISS.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"224\" height=\"300\" src=\"https:\/\/www.boisestate.edu\/physics-cidsrsn\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/801\/2024\/06\/Screen-Shot-2024-06-27-at-10.21.24-AM-224x300.png\" alt=\"Steve Swanson presenting to children\" class=\"wp-image-22942\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Then the kids were able to do space related projects.
