Submissions are open to one piece of fiction completed for coursework during the last calendar year. Submissions should not exceed 20 pages. Maya Grubaugh wrote the 2nd place submission in the Fiction Category for the 2021 President’s Writing Awards.
About Maya
Maya Grubaugh was born and raised in Boise, Idaho, and she’s currently studying Spanish and English here at Boise State. She’s passionate about language and storytelling, and in her free time she loves to read, write, take long walks, and plan road trips. Sometime in the future, she’d like to live abroad for a bit, and she plans to keep writing all along the way.
