The Department of Psychological Science is pleased to congratulate upcoming sophmore, Kendra Patenburg, on receiving the highly competitive KiDOH Scholarship. This award is only offered to students majoring in Psychology, with upper-class standing, and having a strong GPA.
Kendra is currently a junior at Boise State, working toward a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Family Studies. On campus, she works as a BroncoFit Peer Health Educator where she creates programs alongside the team to encourage campus wellness. Kendra also is a representative on the Assembled Students of Boise State University, and she sits on the Food Insecurity Committee that works closely with the Dean of Students and the Campus Food Pantry. In regards to her career aspirations, Kendra is hoping to pursue a role in management upon graduation. This summer, she will be completing an internship with Amazon, as an Area Manager for a distribution site. Kendra feels very honored to be selected for this scholarship and is so excited to return next year and graduate next spring.
