Learn About Juvenile Corrections at the Juvenile Justice Summit!

The Idaho Department of Juvenile Corrections will be hosting the Juvenile Justice Summit on October 14th, and you are invited to attend!

This is an exciting opportunity to connect with stakeholders statewide to learn new information about how the juvenile justice system can be enhanced in Idaho.

Speakers will be presenting on racial and ethnic disparities in the juvenile justice system, as well as how professionals can help reduce these disparities in Idaho. Additionally, there will also be several presentations about length of stay and how we can maintain a system that ensures effective programming for youth reintegration into the community.

The summit will be held at the Lincoln Auditorium in the Capitol Building, located at 700 W Jefferson St. Please note, masks are requested in the Capitol. Space is limited, and in-person attendance will be allowed on a first-come first-serve basis.

If you’d like to attend the summit in person, please email Chelsea.Newton@idjc.idaho.gov.
