Planning Your Spring Class Schedule? Consider Enrolling in PSYC 494!
This workshop will be held Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 7 PM, the week of April 4th.
The purpose of this workshop is for students to learn about a variety of topics related to crime victimization, including:
- Crime victims’ rights
- Types of victimization
- Victim experiences in justice systems
- Professionals working with crime victims
- Victim advocacy
- Victim servies
Workshop sessions will be conducted by practitioner and academic experts in victimization-related fields, and will be held in a variety of formats, including lectures, interactive presentations, and documentaries.
You can register for 1 or 2 credits, and are able to choose which sessions to attend based on your availability and interests.
If you’re interested in enrolling, the course is listed as CJ 494 and PSYC 494. This workshop is only offered once a year, and is also a great way to earn upper-division credit!
