Congratulations to Erica Daw, recipient of the 22/23 KiDOH Scholarship! Erica is a sociology major and psychology minor in her senior year at Boise State.
“I am both so honored and very proud to be able to obtain this award. After graduation, my plans are to work with the indigent/homeless population in the Treasure Valley. I specifically hope to work with women that are in domestic violence situations, to be able to begin new lives free from violence. I am also interested in working with other marginally represented populations such as in an ombudsman position with the elderly and aged and those that are facing constructs associated with migrant farm living.
Currently, I am a single mother to seven children, which takes up a lot of my free time. My children and I enjoy so much of what our community has to offer such as fairs and festivals, arts and culture, and the amazing amount of recreation in the Boise area. My other hobbies include amateur photography and theater.”
We hope that this award will assist Erica in achieving her academic and professional goals! Congratulations from all of us in The Department of Psychological Science!
