I am currently a third-year student working toward becoming a clinical psychologist. Additionally, I am an out-of-state transfer student. I moved to Boise from a small town in Virginia. My favorite class, thus far, is PSYC 309 Child Development. In my free time, I enjoy playing guitar and spending time with my friends.

  • Andrea Johnson

    Andrea Johnson

Hello! My name is Andrea. I am a non-traditional transfer student who started taking online classes in Summer 2019. I now attend on campus. I have a 12-year-old son and many dogs, cats, chickens, turkeys, ducks and pigs, so we spend our free time cleaning and feeding. I also like to hike and rock hound. I work for a locally-owned aerial application company (crop-dusters) and volunteer with Guardian ad Litem in Caldwell. I really enjoy working with kids in a productive and positive manner. Doing so reminded me why I started my psychology degree and is the impetus for me to finish it.

  • Kristen Connolly

    Kristen Connolly

My name is Kristen and I’m thrilled to be a Peer Advisor for the Psychology Department. I started my journey at Boise State last fall after transferring with an associate degree from the College of Western Idaho. I will graduate in Spring 2021 with a BS in Psychology, and hope to go to a Master of Arts in Counseling program. One of the most enriching experiences I’ve had at BSU has been serving as a research assistant in the Family Research Lab. Between classes and working, I love spending time with my husband and two adorably-scruffy dogs.
