We’re refreshing campus parking lots this summer.
Summer improvements are getting underway in parking areas across campus, and we’re excited to invest in the spaces our campus community uses every day. If you’ll be on campus during these projects, please watch for posted signs identifying temporary closures and work zones.
Here’s what’s scheduled:
West Stadium parking lot and Bronco Lane repaving
Dates: May 11 to September 11
What to expect: We’re bringing fresh pavement and roadway improvements to the West Stadium parking lot and Bronco Lane this summer. Construction will take place in phases, so parking will remain available throughout the project. Bike routes in these areas will be closed to bicycles and similar devices during construction.. Drivers should plan for occasional delays and allow extra time when parking in the area.

University Plaza Broadway garage repainting
Dates: June 8 to June 12
What to expect: We’re refreshing parking lines throughout the garage to improve visibility and parking flow. Crews will temporarily close small sections of the garage while work is completed, but overall parking availability will remain unchanged. Please follow posted signage during the project.
Children’s Center parking lot maintenance
Dates: June 29 to July 3
Time of parking lot closure: 6 a.m.
Time of parking lot opening: 5 p.m.
What to expect: We’re giving the Children’s Center parking lot a full summer refresh with new parking lines, seal coating, and crack repairs to help preserve the lot for years to come. The parking lot will be temporarily closed during maintenance.
Alternative parking: Permit holders may park in the Manor Apartments parking lot during the project.
Alumni & Friends and Dona Larsen parking lot maintenance
Dates: June 23 to June 26
Time of parking lot closures: 6 a.m.
Time of parking lot opening: 5 p.m.
What to expect: We’re refreshing both parking lots with new striping, seal coating, and asphalt repairs to improve the parking experience and extend the life of the lots. Both parking lots will be temporarily closed during maintenance.
Alternative parking for Alumni and Friends permit holders: Grant East parking lot
Alternative parking for Satellite Zone permit holders: East Stadium parking lot
Additional parking lot maintenance
We may also complete maintenance work in the East Stadium parking lot later this summer. If scheduled, East Commuter permit holders will receive additional updates about parking impacts and alternative parking options.
You may also see smaller improvement projects taking place in parking areas across campus throughout the summer. Please watch for posted signage and email updates so you can stay informed about the latest parking changes and improvements.
