The Department of Public Safety is excited to inform you of parking lot regrading and maintenance in the Grant West and Grant East parking lots. This biannual maintenance is integral in these gravel lots to keep them smooth and safe to drive in!
Temporary parking lot closures
To complete this regrading project in a timely manner, we ask that all vehicles please move from the Grant West and East parking lots by 11:59 p.m. on July 20.
Impacted parking lots: Grant East and Grant West.
Parking lots closure time: 11:59 p.m. on Monday, July 20.
Parking lots reopened: Noon on Saturday, July 25.
What this means: Vehicles are allowed to remain parked in the lots during this time. However, on the dates listed above, any vehicles remaining in the lot will not be able to exit until the grading work is completed.
Alternative parking options
Beginning July 1, cross-parking will be available to all Reserve and Commuter permit holders. Permit holders may park in any Reserve or Commuter parking lot across campus, as space is available.
During the duration of this maintenance, Resident East permit holders are permitted to cross-park in the Lincoln Garage starting Monday, July 20, and ending on Saturday, July 25, after grading work has concluded.
