New Parking Initiatives for Night and Weekend Classes

In an effort to better serve students taking night and weekend classes, Transportation and Parking Services has created two new options to improve access to affordable parking during non-peak hours.

A new permit has been developed for students only taking night or weekend classes. The Student PM permit will allow parking in any Reserve or Commuter lot from 4 p.m. until midnight every weekday. On weekends, the permit is valid all day. This new permit is $84 per academic year. Please visit the Transit Center if you would like to purchase this permit.

Hourly parking rates for non-peak times have also been adjusted to benefit students with night and weekend classes. The hourly lot between the Multipurpose building and the Dean of Students office, and the East and West Plaza lots, located on either side of the “B” plaza, will have their rates lowered to $1.75 per hour after 5:30 p.m. on weekdays. The lower rate will also be available all day on weekends.

This program will be evaluated throughout the 2019-2020 school year and adjusted as needed. Students can contact to provide feedback on these options or to ask general parking questions.
