Beat The Rush And Purchase Your Permit Online Now

Beat The Rush And Purchase Your Permit Online Now

Parking permits for the 2020/2021 academic year are available for sale Online.  Due to closures caused by COVID-19, the Boise State Transit Center will not be open for in-person permit sales during the month of July.  We are monitoring the situation closely and will open as soon as university leadership feels it is safe to do so.

Even though we will not be able to greet you in person, we have a robust online presence and are prepared to support you with your permit purchase by phone and email.  Our permit system is integrated with your Bronco account using single-sign-on.  This means that if you are logged into your Boise State account you are automatically logged into our parking permit system, NuPark.  We hope this helps to make your parking permit purchase easy and stress-free.

Purchasing a Permit

Here is what you need to know to successfully purchase your parking permit:

  • Purchase your permit as soon as possible.  Parking permits are a valued commodity on campus.  In order to ensure that you receive access to your preferred parking zone, we recommend buying your parking permit early.
  • Our website is www.boisestate.edu/publicsafety-transportation.  Once on that website, select the “Purchase a Permit” link.
  • Parking permits will be mailed to you if purchased prior to August 9, 2020.  Students: make sure your address is up to date in your student account.
  • Your license plate is critical to your permit; ensure your license plate, and vehicle information are up to date prior to purchasing your permit.
  • Payroll deduct is still available for employees using the online system.  If you are a new employee and need assistance, email our team at parkingquestions@boisestate.edu.
  • New this year to allow greater payment flexibility students may add the cost of their permit to their Boise State student account.  Just select “Student Account” as your payment method.  More information about all payment types available here.
  • Your current parking permit permissions will remain valid until August 8, 2020.  Although new parking permits are not valid until August 9, 2020, they will be honored once received and displayed in conjunction with a valid registered license plate.  Access to Boise State and service received will not change with the continued closure.

Though the Transit Center is closed, our team is still here to support you. Call us at 208-426-PARK (7275) or email us at parkingquestions@boisestate.edu if you have any questions.  Our team is ready to help solve any issues you may face in navigating the online system so please reach out with questions.  We hope you are staying well and safe; take care of yourself.  Thank you for your patience and kindness.  GO BRONCOS!
