“The Wingspan Fellowship is supporting my spring fieldwork to collect and prepare herbarium specimens that will strengthen my research on disturbance restoration in Idaho’s sagebrush-steppe. These specimens will also serve as teaching tools for undergraduate courses in Mammalogy and Animal Physiology and Nutrition. Additionally, the fellowship will fund my participation in a restoration ecology conference, where I will learn new techniques and build professional connections to advance my career in wildlife and ecosystem conservation.”
