McVey, Kathlyn J.
In 2011, Kathlyn received her M.S. in Raptor Biology from Boise State University, studying trophic ecology of Burrowing Owls in natural and agricultural habitats.
In 2010, Kathlyn was an Americorps member serving as an Environmental Educator at the Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge in southwest Idaho.
Currently, Kathlyn is a Wildlife Refuge Specialist at the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge in Brigham City, Utah. She works with the public through environmental education, interpretation, and citizen science.
In addition, she is working on a biology project which includes a 2-year study of amphibians on the Refuge.
