Lifeguard Instructor Certification

Are you ready to pass on your knowledge and experience as a lifeguard to others? The Lifeguard Instructor Course will prepare you to teach Lifeguard Training, First Aid, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, and many more courses! This course will prepare you by developing your understanding of course materials and methods, how to conduct training sessions, and how to evaluate participants’ progress.

Must be at least 17 years of age, possess a current basic-level certification in Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED, and be able to complete the precourse online material and in-person skills test (300 yard swim, 2 minute tread, timed brick retrieval, and two rescue scenarios). View a demonstration of the precourse skills (except for the two rescue scenarios).

Failure to pass the precourse requirements will result in inability to participate in the course and no refunds will be given.

A minimum of 4 participants is needed by the registration deadline for the class to run. No refunds will be given for dropping the class.
