How to Add an Optional Service-Learning Transcript Designation
Students can sign up for a transcript distinction if they are in a class that offers a service-learning option. To get the distinction, choose the Take Requirement Designation when registering for a course. Students will have until the end of the 9th week to register. No additional cost or credit is accrued.
Log in to myBoiseState.
Click Student View, then Student Center link under Services.
Select Student Homepage.
Select Class Search and Enrollment
How to Add or Remove Service-Learning Option Designation After Registration
Select the Update Classes tab.
Select a class to edit, choose the course where you would like to add or remove the Service-Learning Option Designation.
Check or uncheck the Take Requirement Designation checkbox.
Select Accept and you will be taken to a confirmation screen where you can review the changes you made.
How to Add Service-Learning Option Designation at Registration
In your Student Homepage, select Class Search and Enrollment.
Use the Class Search and Enroll tab to find a course.
If that course has an optional Service-Learning component, “Integrated Service-Learning: Student’s Option” will appear in step two of enrolling or adding the class to the shopping cart.
You will have the option to check the Take Requirement Designation checkbox.
Accept and finish the enrollment process.
