To change the order of courses you wish to take in a given semester, click Arrange My Plan.
Degree Tracker will take you to a drag and drop version of your plan. To view any pre-requisites or co-requisites to the course you would like to move, hover over PREREQ or COREQ on the right-hand side. Make sure to review this before making any changes as Degree Tracker may not allow you to save your plan until any enrollment requirements are satisfied.
Once you are done arranging your plan, click OK.

Ready to take control of your academic journey? This video will guide you through arranging courses in your Boise State Degree Tracker to create a plan that truly fits your goals.
First, a quick note: If you’re unsure how to get to your Degree Tracker, please watch our “How to Access Degree Tracker” video for a detailed walkthrough.
Degree Tracker provides a recommended path to graduation. However, what if you want to take a summer class, or the tracker leaves a course as an “unassigned requirement”? That’s where you come in. Let’s get your plan personalized.
To begin, find the “Preferences” section and click the button labeled “Arrange my plan.”
This opens your plan in an editable view. Before you move anything, take a moment to identify any prerequisites or co-requisites for your courses. Moving a course without its pre/co-req can cause issues later. Also, keep an eye out for courses marked “CRITICAL”—it’s wise to take those early on.
Now, you can simply drag and drop any course into your desired semester.
If you move a course to a semester where it isn’t typically offered or a prerequisite is missing, a pop-up alert will appear. This is an important warning. Make a note of the issue it describes, and then click “OK.” In some cases, Degree Tracker will prevent you from saving a plan with critical prerequisite errors until they are corrected.
Once you’re happy with your layout, click the “OK” button at the top or bottom of the page to save.
And voila! Your Degree Tracker plan is now updated to reflect your personalized schedule, locking any manually moved courses into place
A Quick Reminder: Your Degree Tracker is a planning tool. The official Schedule of Classes has the final say on when courses are offered. Always double-check the live schedule before registration.
