Students can use Degree Tracker to help plan their entire academic path, from day one to graduation. With Degree Tracker students can create custom academic plan that fits their needs and timeline for all undergraduate majors and minors. Degree Tracker pulls from the Academic Advisement Report and all transfer credits and academic adjustments will show up in the Degree Tracker.
Please Note: The Academic Advisement Report (AAR) will be used for graduation evaluation to ensure all degree and course requirements are met.
Accessing Degree Tracker
Log in to myBoiseState.
Click the Student Center link under My Resources.
Click the Student Homepage tile.
Select the Advising and Academic Progress tile.
Select the Degree Tracker tab.
Refresh/create personalized plan by clicking OK to continue.
Select OK a second time when your personalized plan is ready.
The Degree Tracker will generate a personalized plan. From there you can change preferences, lock classes, arrange classes in your plan, create a what-if report, and refresh suggestions as needed.

In this video, we’ll show you how to find your personalized Degree Tracker plan.
First, you will need to log in to your MyBoiseState account and open your Student Center.
Once you are logged in to your Student Center, click on the Advising and Academic Progress tile. This will load your academic advisement, or AAR, report.
Next, look at the left-hand side of your screen and click on Degree Tracker.
If this is your first time accessing Degree Tracker, you will see a message indicating that your plan is being loaded. Click “OK”. Please expect it to take a few moments for your plan to load.
Once Degree Tracker confirms that your new plan is complete, click “OK” again. You’ll then be taken to your customizable, semester-by-semester degree plan. After the first time you have accessed your plan and made any changes, it will not have to be refreshed again, unless the Registrar’s Office needs to make any updates to the existing plan.
