  1. The standard tuition deadline is based on the Regular session fee deadline. Certain class fees may have extended deadlines based on the session start date. Please refer to your Student Center on my.BoiseState.edu for tuition and fee deadlines each term and contact sfinfo@boisestate.edu with any questions.
  2. Complete withdrawals on or after this date are subject to a nonrefundable $40.00 processing fee.
  3. Last date to add with permission number, last date to drop or completely withdraw without a W and receive a refund (less a nonrefundable $40.00 processing fee), last date to change from credit-to-audit or audit-to-credit.
  4. Grades will not be considered official until the end-of-term processing has been completed.

Wednesday, October 1 (2025)The 2026-2027 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) can be submitted beginning today.
Monday, December 15 (2025)Nonresident Application and Scholarship Priority Deadline. In order to be considered for automatic scholarships, all admission materials for nonresident prospective first-year and transfer students must be received in Admissions.
Thursday, January 15Recommended fall priority application deadline for graduate degree-seeking applicants to have all admission materials received by the Graduate College. In order to receive full consideration for fall admission, all applications must be completed and submitted to the Graduate College prior to the fall application deadline established by the individual graduate program.
Sunday, February 152026-2027 FAFSA filing priority date for continuing students and prospective first-year and transfer students. Eligible students must apply by this date to maximize the amount of aid you receive. The priority filing date is not a deadline, so you may still submit the FAFSA even if the priority filing date has passed.
Sunday, February 15Idaho Resident Application and Scholarship Priority Deadline. In order to be considered for automatic scholarships for the 2026-2027 school year, all admission materials for prospective Idaho resident first-year and transfer students must be received in Admissions. The 2026-2027 FAFSA must be filed by this date to be considered for need-based scholarships. Priority deadline for the Boise State Scholarship Application (online) to be submitted to the Financial Aid Office. The Boise State Scholarship website contains a list of additional scholarships that require a separate application.
Monday, February 162026-2027 academic year on-campus sophomore and above housing application available at noon for residence halls.
Monday, March 92026-2027 academic year on-campus first year housing application available at noon for residence halls.
Monday, March 23Registration for continuing students begins for Fall 2026 (by appointment).
Wednesday, April 1Priority date for international student application materials to be received by International Admissions for fall semester consideration.
Monday, April 6Last day to submit an Application for Admission to Candidacy form to the Graduate College for graduate degrees and certificates to be awarded in December 2026.
Friday, May 1Deadline for first-time, degree-seeking, domestic undergraduate students who plan to enroll to submit an online Intent to Enroll form and accompanying $100.00 enrollment confirmation.
Friday, May 1Standard application deadline for undergraduate, degree-seeking applicants to have all admission materials received by Admissions. Applicants who miss this application deadline will be considered for degree-seeking status on a space-available basis. Students who are not eligible for degree-seeking admission may be considered for non degree-seeking status and are ineligible for financial aid.
Wednesday, July 1First day students can begin using 2026-2027 work-study awards.
Monday, August 3Recommended last day to submit a Graduate Admission Application to the Graduate College for Fall 2026 admission consideration.
Friday, August 7Recommended date to finalize student course schedules for Fall 2026 for financial aid purposes.
Monday, August 17University, college, and department activities for faculty begin this week.
Tuesday, August 18Registration for Non-Degree and Open Enrollment begins for Fall 2026

Friday, August 28Last day faculty may submit drops for nonattendance during the first week of the semester to the Registrar’s Office.
Friday, August 28Deadline to apply for graduation for graduate and undergraduate degrees and certificates to be awarded in December 2026. Students apply for graduation on myBoiseState. Late applications will be accepted but a late fee will be assessed.
Friday, September 4Last day to submit Idaho Residency Determination Worksheet with documentation to the Registrar’s Office to declare Idaho residency for Fall 2026 consideration.
Friday, September 4Fall financial aid Pell recalculation date. Pell Grant eligibility for financial aid determined by number of credits registered on this date.
Friday, September 4Last day for students living on campus to downgrade residential meal plans.
Friday, September 4Last day to add graduate dissertation, thesis, project, or portfolio credit.

Friday, November 6Last day for students who received a thesis or dissertation enrollment waiver to submit the final version of thesis or dissertation to the Graduate College.
Friday, November 6Last day to submit an advisor-approved version of dissertation or thesis along with either an Access Agreement for a Thesis or Dissertation or Embargo Request for a Thesis or Dissertation to the Graduate College for graduate degrees to be awarded in December 2026.
