The presentation will include the latest information from two United Way reports: The 2020 Treasure Valley Community Assessment and the 2020 Idaho ALICE report . These reports combine to give a comprehensive picture of what individuals and families are experiencing as it relates to financial stability, education, and health. The Community Assessment, done in collaboration with Saint Alphonsus Health System, combines qualitative data with quantitative data from nearly 2,700 individual surveys, 26 citizen focus groups, and over 30 key informant interviews with local non-profit, government, and business leaders to identify the priority needs and issues residents of the Treasure Valley are facing. The ALICE Report provides an understanding of our ALICE population, or the Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed individuals and families in Idaho – essentially the working poor.
