Collaborative Projects

Boise Fire Est. 1876 - Pride, Service, Dedication

The Boise Fire Department has collaborated with the Boise State University interdisciplinary working group BURN, has worked with Geosciences department staff to gather information for placing a Boise Fire Department owned RAWS station in the Boise Front, as well as collaborating on needs for LiDAR acquisition for the Boise area that would have utility for many working groups, while updating our Ada Wildfire Riskmap. The Boise Fire Department has also helped shape surveys for two separate research efforts relating to the Boise wildland-urban interface and has provided guest speakers for climate and wildfire related classes.
