Boise State Office of Emergency Management

About, Services, Outreach, and Collaboration

The Boise State University Office of Emergency Management, in the department of Public Safety, is the primary office for emergency and preparedness campus operations. The office maintains the BroncoAlert emergency notification system, the Boise State Ready portal for Faculty and Staff, and the Online Emergency Preparedness Information Center for the campus community. At the Information Center, users can find resources such as emergency response plan templates, guidelines and checklists for employees, directions to off-site and local resources, and the Boise State Ready Blog.

Collaboration with Boise State University includes:

  • partnership with over 12 educational disciplines, assisting students/researchers with topics such as Active Shooter Situations, Workplace Violence, Crisis Communications, Emergency Notification, Student Involvement in Emergency Preparedness, and Weather Preparedness
