CAES and the INL National University Consortium Announces the Science and Technology Kickoff in Idaho Event

The Center for Advanced Energy Studies (CAES) and the National University Consortium will host a science and technology kick-off January 24-25. For those who may be interested in attending in person, the event will be held in at Idaho National Lab (INL) in the Engineering and Research Office Building in Idaho Falls. A virtual option will also be available.

Faculty, students, and INL researchers are invited to participate in this annual extravaganza featuring seminars, discussions on science and technology, and opportunities for collaboration. The detailed agenda will be available in January but highlights include:

  • Presentations on INL’s initiatives and emerging capabilities.
  • Opportunities to meet new collaborators.
  • Lightning talks focused on research topics of joint interest.
  • A review of INL’s Laboratory Directed Research and Development proposal process.
  • Informative sessions on upcoming external calls, funding agencies, and INL’s new internal proposal process.
