NASA Earth Sciences Deputy Director To Visit Campus May 15-16

The NASA Earth Sciences Deputy Director, Dr. Tom Neumann, will be on campus May 15th and 16th. He will give a presentation (time and location TBD) and will meet with interested faculty to learn about their work. NASA’s Earth Sciences Division plans, organizes, evaluates, and implements a broad program of research on our planet’s natural systems and processes. Major focus areas include climate change, severe weather, the atmosphere, the oceans, sea ice and glaciers, and the land surface.
