The NASA Idaho Space Grant Consortium (ISGC) is seeking proposals for grants to support hands-on activities and experiences that engage Idaho’s students in the excitement of aerospace and/or Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) fields, including technical training and trades, that support the aerospace industry. This short-term grant opportunity will support programs starting as soon as September 2, 2025, and ending no later than May 31, 2026.

Eligible activities funded by this opportunity include research projects, STEM-focused competitions, NASA-organized activities, workshops, special courses, camps, mentoring, outreach, or other programs that increase student engagement and interest in aerospace-related careers.

Spacepoint Scholarship Seeks Applications

The purpose of this opportunity is to provide merit-based scholarships to support students pursuing an education in fields related to the space industry at select Idaho institutions of higher education, as part of the broader initiative to advance education and research in space. The Spacepoint Scholarship will provide financial support for students participating in the Idaho Space Grant Consortium’s affiliate programs, activities and events.

Eligibility requirements for this scholarship are:

  • First preference shall be to Idaho Space Grant Consortium program participants or incoming students who demonstrate interest in Space Grant programs.
  • Recipients shall be enrolled full-time in a degree program at an Idaho institution of higher education (community college or 4-year college or university), in a degree that has a demonstrated alignment with the workforce needs of the space industries.
  • Recipients shall be residents of Idaho who have graduated from an Idaho high school.

Recipients shall be selected based solely on the merit of their application materials.

Scholarship Funding: ​Five scholarships will be awarded with a value of $1,000 each.
