Northwest Climate Adaptation Science Center FY 2027 Funding Opportunities Open

The Northwest Climate Adaptation Science Center (NW CASC) is currently accepting Statements of Interest (SOI) for projects to begin in Federal Fiscal Year 2027 (FY27). At this time, FY27 funding for the Climate Adaptation Science Center program remains uncertain. This solicitation is being issued to ensure that, if funding is provided, the CASCs are well positioned to deliver high-quality science that aligns with regional needs and administration priorities.

The NW CASC is seeking to fund projects that can be directly applied to specific management challenges within the NW CASC region, which includes Idaho, Oregon, Washington and western Montana. Researchers from other organizations (federal, state, Tribal, non-governmental and other) may participate in CASC-funded projects and receive funds via subawards, contracts or interagency agreements through an eligible organization.
