Dr. Ashley Bosa, a postdoctoral research fellow for The Resilience Institute, spent two days in Washington D.C. as part of the American Geophysical Union (AGU) Voices for Science training and talking to Congressional staff for science advocacy.
Her recent meetings emphasized The Resilience Institute’s role as a community-first organization supporting Idaho communities. She urged Senators Risch and Crapo to back strong federal appropriations that fund key projects and partnerships across the state. Highlighting the growing toll of wildfires, she stressed that federal support is critical for mitigation, preparedness, and recovery efforts that protect Idahoans year after year.
