This past week, Dr. Brittany Brand took three students on a six-day Field Methods in Volcanology class, traveling to the Oregon Cascade volcanoes. The trip offered hands-on experience in volcanic fieldwork, including mapping, sampling, and observing volcanic processes in the field.
This immersive experience provides our students with invaluable practical skills in volcanology and strengthens their understanding of volcanic landscapes and hazards.
