We are pleased to welcome Dr. Dinesh Kumar Verma to The Resilience Institute Executive Team.
His research examines how long-term biological stress contributes to Parkinson’s disease and related neurodegenerative disorders, focusing on drivers such as inflammation, oxidative stress, and cellular aging, while developing minimally invasive blood and saliva tests for early detection. His work aligns closely with our Health and Well-Being pillar by emphasizing early intervention and prevention, strengthening the capacity of individuals and communities, especially in rural and under-resourced areas, to adapt to long-term stressors and environmental change.
