Resilience Institute Graduate Students Present Research at Graduate Student Showcase

The Graduate Student Showcase was held on Wednesday, April 8, in the Jordan Ballroom of the Student Union Building (SUB) at Boise State University. 

The following Resilience Institute graduate students presented their work:

Prithila Datta Purkayastha presented her ongoing dissertation research, titled “How Resilient are Rural Communities? A Case Study in the West Central Mountain Region,” which highlighted her work on rural community resilience.

Brennan Williams-Mieding stands in front of his research poster.

Brennan Williams-Mieding presented his master research, titled “The origin of welding in the mafic Trail Bride Reservoir Ignimbrite – an analog for Martian Volcanism”

Alexandra Daniels presented her dissertation research, titled “From Eruption to Evacuation: Advancing Volcanic Hazard Modeling and Decision Support at Villarrica and Mount Hood”
