Scope and Policy
The School of Respiratory Care Sciences (SRCS) aims to provide financial assistance in support of activities supporting the growth and development of both individual staff and the school. The Non-Academic Reimbursement Program provides financial support to employees for approved programs with this context.
Eligibility
This policy applies to all SRCS benefit-eligible employees.
Terms of Participation
- Full-time faculty and staff that are engaging in; non-academic development, marketing, or recruitment activities for SCRS.
- Approval of both the supervisor and Divisional Dean are required.
- Eligible expenses include mileage for driving and registration for the event.
- Lodging and airfare may be approved but will be evaluated on a case-by case basis and may require an ROI summary.
- This benefit may be taxable. Faculty and staff who participate should contact their tax representation for additional guidance.
Workflow
- Gain supervisor and Divisional Dean approval.
- Submit Funds Request.
- Submit receipts for reimbursement within a week after travel.
