IMPACT

IMPACT is Idaho’s differentiated math professional learning model, designed to provide the right level of support based on school and teacher needs.

Idaho Mathematics Project for Achievement, Coaching & Teaching

IMPACT emphasizes high-quality instruction and practical mathematics intervention approaches for supporting students who need additional time, support, or access to grade-level learning. Level 1 focuses on the “how” of math teaching, by exploring the 8 math teaching practices in conjunction with Explicit Attention to Concepts and Student Opportunities to Struggle; Level 2 focuses on the “what” of math teaching, diving into grade-band content and ISAT interim assessments; and Level 3 is intensive support focused on implementing instruction and driving measurable gains in student learning.
