We provide professional development opportunities for all K–12 public educators in Regions 3 and 4, offering a variety of ways to engage with both mathematics content and pedagogy. Rooted in an asset-based view of teacher and student learning, our programs are designed as true partnerships to support and grow teacher practice.
Teaching Mathematical Thinking Courses
Register for a 3-credit course for teachers to explore student-centered approaches to mathematics, strengthen classroom practice, and meet satisfy Idaho’s MTI/TMT Certification Requirement.
Math Leadership Network
Join a professional community of coaches and teacher-leaders to grow math expertise, strengthen classroom practice, and build leadership skills for making lasting impacts in schools and districts.
Idaho Math Intervention Project
Interventionists, special educators, and classroom teachers learn to assess, plan, and deliver evidence-based math supports—through modules, collaboration, and onsite coaching—to accelerate growth for students who struggle.
Interactive Math Teaching Modules
Dig deeper into grade-band focused strands of mathematics content. Participation includes cycles of meeting with colleagues, followed by implementation in the classroom and reflection.
Regional Lesson Study
Grade-level teams from across schools collaborate to research, plan, teach, and refine mathematics lessons—deepening instruction through a shared focus on student thinking.
