IDAHO TRANSFER STUDENT
An Idaho transfer student is defined as an individual who has earned 14 or more semester credits after high school by the scholarship deadline and holds Idaho residency. Students who take concurrent college credit during high school are considered new students.

STEP 2: Complete Your FAFSA
Complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) to be considered for the greatest number of need-based scholarships and financial aid.
Fall Priority Deadline: February 15
Spring Priority Deadline: October 1
If this deadline has passed, we still encourage you to complete the application as some financial aid may still be available. The last day a FAFSA can be submitted is June 30th.

- Only incoming transfer students are considered for the Presidential Transfer and Dean’s Transfer Scholarships. Consideration is based on their admissions materials received by the scholarship deadline.

STEP 5: Apply for State Scholarships
Recognizing the value of postsecondary education, the State of Idaho offers a variety of scholarship options for eligible Idaho students who attend an Idaho institution, such as the Idaho Opportunity Scholarship and the Idaho Opportunity for Adult Learners Scholarship.
