Boise State Music Masterclass: Musicians Entrepreneurship

Boise State Music is proud to present a special masterclass focused on musician entrepreneurship featuring the Tree City Chamber Players.

Morrison Center Recital Hall

Admission is free.

While mainly intended for Boise State music students, the event is open to all interested parties.

The Tree City Chamber Players are Melanie Keller (flute, piccolo, alto flute), Ryan Klein (oboe, English horn), Chad Spears (piano) and special guest Stephen Mathie (cello). At this masterclass, the group will play selections from and discuss Dr. Eric Alexander’s “Sawtooth Sketches,”  which premiered in June 2022. The musicians will also talk about the process of commissioning new music, securing funding, and the ins and outs of organizing a concert series.
