Join the Stein Luminary for an evening lecture with MacArthur Fellow, Dr. Lisa Parks, titled “The Other Side of the Smartphone.”
Parks is a Distinguished Professor of Film and Media Studies and Director of the Global Media Technologies & Cultures (GMTaC) Lab at the University of California at Santa Barbara. She won the prestigious MacArthur “Genius” Fellowship Award in 2018 and was formerly a Professor of Comparative Media Studies and Science, Technology and Society at MIT.
The lecture will be held in Skaggs Hall (located in the Micron Business Building) at 5:00pm with a reception to follow at 6:00pm at the Stein Luminary (located in the Center for Visual Arts).
