Spring Orchestra Concert: "Music At A Time of War!”

The Boise State Symphony Orchestra will perform a Spring Concert entitled “Music At A Time of War!”

Sunday, February 12, 2023, 7:30 pm, Main Hall of the Morrison Center

Each of the works featured on this program was written between the war years of 1942-1945. Included in the program are Paul Creston’s “Fanfare for Paratroopers,” William Walton’s “Two Pieces for Strings from “Henry the V,” Bohuslav Martinů’s “Memorial to Lidice,” Aaron Copland’s “Variations on A Shaker Melody,” and Morton Gould’s “American Salute.”

Admission is $10 +$3.25  ticketing fee ($13.25 total)

Children, students of any age, any institution with ID, and Boise State faculty, staff and students are admitted free (with ID).
Free tickets are available at the Morrison Center box office only.

All ticket proceeds fund Boise State Music scholarships.

Convenient parking for non-Boise State parking permit holders attending events in the Morrison Center Main Hall is available just south of the Morrison Center. Just follow the signs and the parking attendant’s directions.
