Fall 2026 Internships for School of the Arts students
Meridian Symphony Orchestra
The Meridian Symphony Orchestra is a 70-member ensemble, all-volunteer orchestra, that performs “for the love of it.” The Meridian Symphony presents four concerts during its regular season, including two spring concerts which feature winners of the Young Artists Competition, and a summer outdoors concert.
Social Media
The social media internship involves working with Meridian Symphony Orchestra to create unique content for TikTok and Instagram/Facebook, attend shows for live coverage, learn how to adjust campaigns based on demographics and performance, and more.
1 credit = 45 hours
Pay: $400 per concert cycle (2 cycles per semester)
Concert Manager
Intern as the Front of House Concert Manager with the Meridian Symphony Orchestra during the 2026-2027 Season. The ideal candidate is contemplating, planning, or actively beginning a professional career as a choral educator or singer. Candidates should possess a strong background in event management, customer relations, and clear communication skills.

Boise Rock School
Founded in 2008, Boise Rock School is an independent, nonprofit arts education organization that includes after-school programs with ongoing enrollment, summer camps, and an outreach program.
Non-profit Administration
Students will assist the Programs Director with tasks relating to day-to-day operations, student/parent relations, fundraising support, and community outreach/engagement.

Lala’s Jazz, Inc.
Lala’s Jazz Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in the Boise area. Their mission is to promote and foster the art of jazz through high-quality live performances and educational experiences.
Social Media and Marketing
The Social Media amd Marketing Intern will collaborate with Lala’s Jazz to develop and execute promotional content across Instagram, Facebook, and other marketing channels. This role includes capturing content at live performances and rehearsals and assisting with broader promotional efforts.
