Sun Valley Field School

Spend a week inside one of the most vibrant arts communities in Idaho.

The Sun Valley Field School is a one-week immersive experience where Boise State students step directly into the creative world of Sun Valley, Ketchum and the Wood River Valley. Instead of just studying arts careers, you’ll experience them firsthand.

You’ll meet musicians, gallery owners, filmmakers, writers, curators and arts leaders while gaining behind-the-scenes access to galleries, festivals, performances and creative organizations.

Through workshops, conversations with professionals and hands-on experiences, you’ll explore what it really takes to build a career in the art, gaining real exposure to both the creative and administrative sides of arts careers.
