Shaping policy
Audrey Norris, Games, Interactive Media and Mobile Technology (GIMM) student, spoke at a United Nations conference about young peoples’ experiences with AI. Norris, who expects to graduate in spring 2026, was the only student who spoke at UN Headquarters for the event.
“The ethos of GIMM has always been about getting a job in this industry that moves so quickly. Having that experience makes me feel confident that I will be able to find a place, even as the industry continues to shift and evolve.”
Ready for the future
Serena Allen-Szatkowski arrived on campus as an undeclared major. Four years later, she graduated with professional art experience under her belt and a piece of art on display with the City of Boise.
When Serena chose to major in art, she joined a community dedicated to giving her the professional skills to make it as a professional artist.
“Having the public art on my resume definitely supports any adventure I want to do next.”
Finding community
Games, Interactive Media and Mobile Technology (GIMM) student Kortny Serrano, came to Boise State in 2022 after taking two gap years.
She had explored her options outside Idaho, but ultimately decided to become a Bronco on the advice of her father and brothers, all Boise State graduates.
“I fell in love with it. I’m really glad that I ended up here.”
Blending creativity with business acumen
Morgan Kelly, a performance artist, exemplifies the spirit of the Arts Entrepreneurship program. Majoring in Theatre with minors in Music and Arts Entrepreneurship, Morgan’s journey is a testament to the program’s profound impact on aspiring artists.
“The Arts Entrepreneurship program has been positively influential on my view of how to successfully live as an artist and how to exist in a cut-throat environment as a whole.”
