This program prepares you to meet the eligibility requirements for the ARRT Mammography (M) exam.
Designed for Credentialed Professionals
This certificate is designed for students who already hold an ARRT(R) credential or are in their fall semester of their senior year in the Diagnostic Radiology Program at Boise State at the time of application.
Program Description
If you do not meet this requirement, you are not eligible to apply for this certificate. Please review our pre-advanced medical imaging pathway for options that do not require a previously earned ARRT (R) credential.
The online or in-person Certificate in Mammography is a 11-credit program. Students who already hold an ARRT(R) credential can complete the program in as little as one spring semester. Students in their final semester of the Diagnostic Radiology Program complete mammography coursework in the spring and must pass the ARRT(R) credentialing exam before beginning clinicals in the summer semester.
