Working With SSCRL

Does your organization need to conduct research? The Syringa State Community Research Lab can help!

Our Research Services

Syringa State Community Research Lab conducts qualitative and mixed-method research. We work to get to the heart of the question or problem by approaching it through a people focused lens. It’s often the experiences, perspectives, and beliefs of individuals closest to the issue that can bring the most insight.

The Process

There are four core steps to our research process:

  • Develop Project Scope
  • Design Data Methods
  • Conduct Research
  • Analyze and Present Data

Developing the Project Scope depends on your goals and unique situation. We’ll assess every factor and work with you to map out a project that will result in the most useful data.

In Designing Data Methods, we pick the right kind of data collection for your unique situation. We’re a lab skilled in a wide variety of approaches including:

  • Surveys
  • Interviews
  • Focus Groups

From there we dive in and begin conducting research. And once the data is collected, we’ll analyze it to identify themes and patterns that can be used to take action.

Contract Work

Our research services are offered as contracted work. Each project is individually assessed, so cost is based on the project timeline and the amount of work necessary to complete it.
