We are so excited to be back with you this fall and look forward to continuing to serve you through our efforts in the Student Equity Center. As the world is changing, we are changing too. We are working behind the scenes to evolve our operation and structure to best serve you and will be announcing some structural changes soon. We are doing our best to minimize risk and exposure to COVID-19 by incorporating the following changes for the fall semester of 2020.
1) We are mitigating staff exposure/risk by limiting our staff availability hours to between 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. from Monday to Thursday, and 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Friday. One staff member will be physically present in the Student Equity Center during office hours. Other staff will be available remotely. Although some staff may not be here physically, all of us are available during the 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. from Monday to Thursday, and 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Friday.. 2) All of our events and programs will be offered remotely during the fall semester of 2020 and the spring semester of 2021. Please follow our web pages and social media pages at the addresses below to remain informed.
3) The Student Equity Center will be open during the week, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. from Monday to Thursday, and 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Friday, but we will limit activity inside the space. Face to face meetings with staff are limited to 15 minutes and no more than two students may occupy the center at any one time. While in the center you must wear your facial covering and adhere to campus wide physical distancing policy. There are cleaning materials readily available for your use, please clean any surface that you come into contact with when you are done.
