Feeling festive? June is the month for a variety of festivals in Boise. From music, to books, to ice cream, you’ll have lots of choices.
1) Old Boise Country Music Festival
Formerly known as The Garden City Country Music Festival, the second annual Old Boise Country Music Festival will be held outdoors in downtown Boise.

2) Boise Pride Fest
Now in its 30th year, Pride Fest promotes unity and celebrates the diversity of sexual orientations and gender identities in Boise year round. A film screening, volleyball tournament, and fireworks display are just a few of the events planned.

3) Boise Book Fest
Bibliophiles (or bookworms, if you prefer) will find something to love at this year’s Boise Book Fest. Readers and writers can learn from established authors about writing, publishing and marketing their creations.

4) Brain Freeze Optional: Boise Ice Cream Festival
Two and a half weeks of ice cream events throughout Boise culminate in the Grand Tasting of 200 flavors on June 15. Live entertainment, games, educational opportunities and, of course, we ALL scream for ice cream.

5) World Refugee Day Celebration
This special day brings the community together with our newest Idahoans to celebrate their international cultures and contributions to our society. Enjoy ethnic food, performances, artisans, and a citizenship ceremony at internationally-celebrated World Refugee Day.
