Attorneys

Students will meet with one of two attorneys with the law firm of Schroeder & Lezamiz Law Offices LLP, an established law firm in Boise, with an AV rating (highest rating) by Martindale-Hubbell.

MARGARET M. LEZAMIZ
Margaret has been a licensed practicing attorney in the State of Idaho since being admitted to the bar in 1983.

JOHN T. SCHROEDER
John has been a licensed practicing attorney in the State of Idaho since being admitted to the bar in 1981

License

Margaret and John are licensed to practice in all state courts in Idaho, including the:

• Idaho Supreme Court
• Idaho Court of Appeals
• U.S. Federal District Court
• State of Idaho Industrial Commission
• U.S. Bankruptcy Court
• U.S. Court of Appeals, 9th Circuit

To be eligible to utilize this service, you must be a currently enrolled and full-fee / activity-fee paying student in the semester that the appointment occurs. When summer appointments are available, you must be registered for summer or fall classes. At the time of the appointment, students may be asked to show their Student ID for verification. Please make sure you bring proper identification with you for your appointment.

Faculty and staff are NOT eligible to utilize this service.

An attorney is available every Monday and Thursday through the Fall and Spring semesters from 9:00am to 2:00pm by appointment only. Appointments are thirty minutes long. Walk-in appointments are not accepted.

SPRING SEMESTER
The attorney will be available starting mid-January until early May.

SUMMER HOURS
ASBSU has recently provided additional funds to allow summer hours during June and July.

FALL SEMESTER
The attorney will be available starting at the end of August until early December.
